: KOREAN LANGUAGE EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE
︎︎︎ The English-named Korean Language Educational Research Institute
HOWANDWHY is a Korean language educational research institute under the belief that ‘Learning begins with HOW and is completed in WHY’. They question the phenomenon that Korea education focuses on teaching ‘WHAT’, and studies new educational methods centered around ‘HOW’ and ‘WHY’, or logical principles behind ‘WHAT’. In pursuit of this philosophy, HOWANDWHY has successfully instructed over one million students in logical thinking and a new educational method over the past decade.
To address limitations in the English name and better reflect its identity as a ‘Korean’ educational institution, I combined Korean vowels and consonants with their names ‘HOWANDWHY’, carefully considering pronunciation and shape of institute’s name. This approach aims to not only enhance the presentation of its brand identity but also express their unique orientation in the realm of education.
